text control containing filter

I have a report, pretty basic.based on a query. The
report looks ok except I don't want certain days to show
in the report if they are not part of a certain
crieteria. I would like to filter out and not show some
dates during a certain set of circumstances. Can this be
done. And how.

Sorry abouth the question!!
What I want to do is put a filter in a control on the
report to not show dates of a certain criteria.
