Text colour in task LIST for colour coding

In my Tasks lists I'd like to colour code for immediate identification of
areas of work. I already use words that sort alphabetically to help & have
different folders. Dont much like the date/exclamation mark method. Within
the actual task I can use format to colour but it's the LIST that i'd like to
see in colours. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks Roady... as this seems to rely on me typing in certain words & also
risking picking up those key words when I don't want it to... I was hoping
for some simple highlighting of the spce or text & changing the colour that
way... as one would in Excel or just ordinary text. Do you know anything
quicker? Thanks for replying.

It's explains it for mail items but you can use it on the Tasks views as
well.

Not for the color coding. You can however change the conditions to color it.
For instance; instead of using words use categories instead.
