text boxes

Hi,

I need to edit the Word file that has four pages. The problem is the first
page created by text boxes and they are vertically in the page. Would you
please show me how to rotate the text boxes?

I selected these text boxes, but I didn't see the rotate "green dot" option.

Thank you

Is it the text inside the text boxes that needs to be rotated? In that case,
click in a text box, select Format > Text Direction – select the desired
direction. Repeat this for all text boxes.

You cannot rotate a text box in Word. If you change the direction of the text
via Format > Text Direction, you can afterwards change the proportions of
each text box (either by dragging with the mouse or via Format > Text Box).

If you have several text boxes, this may not work well for you.

Another approach (save a copy of your document first):
For each text box: Keep the rotated text. Cut the text box. Select Edit >
Paste Special > Picture. Now you have a picture that can be rotated, but you
cannot edit the text anymore since it is part of the picture.

Note the information about Word 2002 in the article.
