I want to create a diagram of boxes with words in them connected by lines
(or arrows). Should I use Text Boxes with borders OR AutoShape rectangles
with text inside. What are the pros and cons of each approach??
I am using Word 2002.

If you're using rectangles, there's no specific advantage of AutoShapes
(assuming that connectors can be used with text boxes). If you want a
different shape, then obviously AutoShapes with text are more suitable. Note
that many of the same Format Text Box controls (such as internal margins)
are available for text boxes in AutoShapes as for freestanding text boxes.
