Text Box Links

I have run into an interesting problem in WORD. I am developing a booklet
using word and have set this up by linking text boxes. I have four text
boxes per page in a table. When I get to number 32 text box it will not let
me link on to number 33. So I guess my question is; Is there a limit on the
number of text boxes you can link in WORD? Is there a way around this limit?
I have to use WORD instead of Publisherbecause of the printers format
requirements.

Yes, there is a limit, 32 linked boxes per "story" (a story is the main
body, or the headers, or the footers, or footnotes). I'm not sure where the
official documention is (if there is any), but the limit is mentioned in
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word/HP051895681033.aspx?pid=CH060831661033
and http://support.microsoft.com/kb/211954.

Possibly you could use plain text without text boxes for one of the chains,
and be able to extend the other chains to more pages that way. The only
other workaround I can think of is to separate your booklet into two or more
documents, choosing a logical break point. You won't be able to link from
the last box in one document to the first box in the next document.
