Text Box Lines

I use Office 97. I don't want lines around the text boxes which I have removed by double clicking the box and changing the line to "No Line" but there is no outline when I return to my document (it's blank). How do I get outline of the text box to show up on the document without printing it as you can with Tables - by removing the borders in tables there is still an outline on the screen as to where the tables are without printing the outline.

The only way I know is to make sure that "Text boundaries"
is selected on the View tab of Tools>Options.
