Text Box/ field???

Is it possible to create a box where you are prompted to change the data in a
document in various places to all have the same change? Such as, if I have a
name, date and event that all need to change each time I open the document is
there one place I can do that to change it in multiple locations? I don't
want to use the find and replace option.

You can use styles to do this or you can cross reference
