Text Box Character Size

The same as for the doc outside the text box: 1638 pts. But make sure you
have paper large enough - each character will be 22 inches tall!

1638 points, the same as for text that isn't in a text box. But anything
bigger than about 750 points will be clipped, even in a text box as big as a
full letter-size page.
 
To maximize the font size you can use, set the line spacing equal to or less
than the nominal font size.
