Text box border wanted on screen, not in print.

In MS Word I want to create some templates including text boxes with their
borders visible so that the the users can see where to type. On the printed
page I want to see what has been typed in the boxes, but I do not want the
borders to print. Is there a way to do this?

XP Pro SP2, Office 2000.

If text boundaries are displayed (Tools | Options | View), then a text box
will be visible without a border. The same is true for table cells (using
either text boundaries or table gridlines), but these are per-user
settings--not something you can affect remotely.

That's OK, the users are all in the same office and there are only 7 of them.
It won't take me long to set the options on each computer. Thanks for the
quick reply!

Note that text boundaries will affect more than text boxes. It will cause
the margins and other outlines to be displayed. I find this display helpful
and couldn't live without it (I can switch to Print Preview to see what the
document will look like when printed), but some users find them distracting
or at least "foreign" and may either protest or at least require time to get
used to them.
