Text Box and Video Clip

Does PowerPoint support layers?

For example if I insert a video clip and then add a text
box, the text is covered up by the video clip that is
playing.

I would like to have the video play in the background
with the text content in front of the vido clip.

Hi Mike,

Video will always be in the forground while it's playing.
