testing sendmail

I am a developer that uses EarthLink as an ISP. I have to write some
sendMail functions but my ISP does not allow me to send smtp mail (probably
most don't).

Is there a way to test this out in my environment?

Hello,

You should be able to do this on your workstation if you're using windows
2000, xp and have iis installed with the smtp virtual server.

As I said, my ISP blocks any mail I send with my own SMTP service so I never
get to see what it looks like.
