Hi, i'm need to use a serial port printer with a terminal server session.

When I connect to the terminal server, in the Remote Desktop Connection mark
Serial Ports and in the server RDP unmark disable COM por mapping.
The serial port printer is connected to my COM1 (in mi computer). the
programm on the server is configurated to print on COM1.

this DON'T WORK!!!

any idea?

thanks

I assume you run Windows 2003 on the server?
You have to enable redirection of printers instead (which will
redirect both LPT, COM, USB and network printers).

If your printer still doesn't autocreate, you will have to map the
driver to a native driver on the server. Details are here:

1105, and 1106

I had windows2000.

thanks
