Terminal Services won't start

Hi,

Sorry if this is a repost, but I was having problems with the web-based
reader yesterday (I'm on Outlook now). Anyway, I've been unable to use Fast
User Switching, and I've tracked it down (I think) to a problem with
Terminal Services. When I try to start it manually, I get:

Error 1083: The executable program that this service is configured to run in
does not implement the service.

Any advice?

Hi David,

Check the command line for the service: Switch it to the latter.

"svchost -k netsvcs"
"svchost -k termsvcs"

Kelly,

Thanks for the help, but I'm not sure how to do that. When I access the
properties, I can see the "Path to Executable:" and it does in fact end in
"-k netsvcs", but I can't edit that line.

Dave
