Terminal Services profiles problem

Hello !

I have a problem with some AD settings concerning Termianl Services on W2K3.
We have W2k domain.
For Profiles we use dfs.
I mean each user in Account properties in Terminal Services Profile tab in
profile path have sth. like this: \\domain\dfs\username.
the same path is for Terminal Services Home directory.

In W2k TS everything is ok but when I logon to W2k3 TS
there is problem with mapping to TS Home directory.

in event logs I get:
"Failed to set the user's home directory (Drive Y: connected to Share
\\domain\dfs)." The source is MsGina.

normally it should map to \\domain\dfs\username

When I change those paths to \\server\PROFILES\username everything is
working fine.

I don't know why it's like that. Any idea ?

Thanks.

HI Sir

i would suggest you to enable userenv.log on the Win2K3 TS
login with the user
get the userenv.log

and then see if there in that log it says that it could not unload the
users registry hives

and if you see the same problem then run UPHCLEAN on the server that
will clean the registry from users hives
and reboot the machine

here are the articles that can help you regarding enabling the
userenv.log
and installing uphclean on the server

How to enable userenv log
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;221833

install uphclean

I think I've found the solution thanks to Your reply of course ...

if You don't mind I'd like to ask You one more question:
It concens folder redirection made by GPO.
I've made redirection of My Documents folder pointing to dfs.
-> \\domain\dfs\DOCS\username
It works but strange thing happens. After logon folder is redirected but
when I create or delete a folder/file inside redirected My Documents the
effect is visible not immediately but after refresh (F5) ... ? It happens
only on W2k3.

Did You hear about something like that ?
