Terminal services hangs on new box with old name: Win2k Advanced Server

I just installed a new server at a client site and gave the new server
the old server's name (after removing the old server).

I hadn't looked at terminal services while doing initial testing (with
the temporary name), but after being put into production it refuses
to run Terminal Services. TS just hangs on startup.

Is this something to do with the MAC address of the old box being cached,
or something like this. Any suggestions how to resolve this?

Thanks in advance for any guidance whatsoever.
