Hi,

What does the "Use Standard Windows Authentication" checkbox do in the
Terminal Services Configuration, Connections, Properties, General tab
do?

Thanks,

Peter

My understanding is that it means that typical Windows logon is used instead
of a third party authentication system. --- Steve

Steve,

That raises a lot of questions, like 3rd party, like who? I don't have
it checked but I appear to be using a standard typical logon or is
perhaps something to do with kerberos? Odd it is not checked by
default - do you think I should do so?

I should have mentioned I am using remote admin mode, in case that
makes a difference.

Thanks,

Peter
