Terminal Service Client Failed to Connect

Hi everybody,

This is error message I get.

"The client could not connect to the remote computer.

Remote connections might not be enabled or the computer might be to busy to accept new connections. It is also possible that network problems are preventing your connection."

Remote computer is W2K server. It works just fine. I cannot find anything suspicious.

Any idea?

Thanks
Rale

Hi,

Can other clients connect? Is TCP port 3389 open between the client and
terminal server? Try telnetting from the client to the server on port 3389.
Can you open a client session when on the terminal server itself?

Thanks,
Marc Reynolds

No nobody can connect.
There is no response on port 3389. "Terminal Services" service is disabled. All options under "All Tasks" are disabled.
Fortunately ATT VNC was previously installed, so after reactivation it works just fine and we have "picture" off server again.
It happend short after SP4 were installed. It looks that a lot of people reported similar problems after installing SP4.

Do you have any idea?
