Terminal Server Disconnects after 5 minutes when behind a NAT Firewall

This has been a long endured problem with many server
installations behind NAT (network address translation)
firewalls. When you are running an RDP session from an IP
outside of the NAT firewall (with rdp port mapped to
server on inside) after 5 minutes of inactivity, the
connection is dropped. If anyone knows how to fix this
problem please respond to this post.
Thanks

Go to terminal services configuration, right click on rpd-tcp and choose
properties. Choose session and mark override user settings and choose for
instant end a disconnect session 1 day or never and choose never for
active and idle. That should be all.

bye
Susanne
