Does WindowsXP have a terminal emulator for connecting to Unix servers, like
the old Telix for Windows and Terminal on Windows 3.1? Telnet will not
allow you to download files to your computer, so it's not a real substitute.
Does anyone know if old Telix for Windows will work with XP? I hear about a
product called MiniTerm, but it's expensive -- $299. Does anyone know how
good this last software is?

The program in the "Accessories/communications" folder called Hyperterminal
may suit you.

I prefer using PuTTY for Windows to access Linux server via ssh to ensure
security .. good program and free. Search google to get source for it.
