What are temporary internet fils and can I delete them
from my computer without causing any damage? My anti-
virus detects a virus there every day.

Temporary Internet Files are portions of web pages you've visited. By
storing them on your computer, Internet Explorer can quickly display web
pages you've previously visited. You can delete them any time you wish, but
they're not causing your problem.

If your antivirus software is detecting viruses "every day" then the
solution is to stop visiting the web sites that are sending you the viruses
in the first place. If you engage in risky behavior on the Internet, no
amount of software will prevent your computer from eventually becoming
infected.
