Temporary Internet Files

I'm trying to use the Microsoft Reader on my Windows XP laptop. I've downloaded the program and activated it. Next I purchased 3 digital e-books from Amazon and downloaded each once. But apparently the default location for those downloads is not my library in My Docs. I'm trying to find these files in the temporary internet files, but I'm not having any luck. Can anyone tell me how to get to the temp files and search?? I know the e-books will have a .lit extension and I've searched the C-drive and come up with nothing, but I've been told that the search utility does not search temporary files
Help!

First you have to show hidden files, In Win Explorer, Go to Tools, Folder
Options, View and check show hidden files.
Now Go to C drive, then Select Documents and Settings, now select your user
name.
You'll see a folder called Local Settings
Open and you'll see Temporary Internet Files

Don't forget to hide the hidden files again when you're finished.

Good luck on finding what you want.

Thanks so much - I was finally able to figure out how to change the default download options and changed it so I had a chance to specify *where* the ".lit" files were to be put. I never did find the original ones I downloaded, but was able to download them again.
