Wndows Explorer
Tool, Folder Options
View tab
Select 'Show Hidden Files & Folders'
OK out of the menu
Now go to C:\Documents and Settings
Expand the folders below your username
Go to Local Settings & select 'Temp'

Hope this helps
Mike.

Please explain what you mean by "get in." Most people never need to
"get in" to them. Exactly what are you trying to accomplish?

I'm looking for the temporary files that keep a record of what I've
done recently done, including movies and music that I've let stream on
to my laptop.
What I do with these is drag them to my desktop and give them names.
As a result, they're on my hard drive for me to enjoy later. It's
easy on windows 2000, but I like xp a lot better.
can anyone help?

Hi Mike that's what I used to do on windows 2000 when I had it.
Windows xp is set up differently. The tempoaray file is hidden (from
access). Thanks though
