I'm trying to install an update to Groove and it says
that it cannot install the update with MSAS running. I
cannot find anywhere to temporarily disable it. I have a
file for uninstalling it, but so far, it's worked well
and I don't want to uninstall it. Anyone know how to
temporarily disable it?

Thanks!

Right-click on the MSAS tray icon. Yep, one of those context menu
selections should do it.

Right click the Microsoft AntiSpyware icon in the notification area (system
tray) and select "Security Agent Status (Enabled)" > click "Disable
Real-time Protection".
