Templates help, Excel 2003

I have soem templates that I store in a shared folder in a mapped driv
over a peer to peer network. The folder is teh alterante stratu
folder (Z:\\XLSTART). When I do File, new, I see the links to m
templates, but they wont load. If I click in the "On my computer
link, the dialog box will pop up, the templates will be there but the
wont load!

First, the alternate startup folder isn't usually used for templates--in fact,
it's not usually used (that I've seen).

The files in this location are loaded each time excel starts.

If you want to set your network template's path:

Close Excel
open MSWord
tools|options|file locations tab
change the "Workgroup templates" location.
