Templates and Editable regions

I've created a simple template in word 2003 and just a title and a separators
followed by more titles and separators and I wanted to first of all lock the
titles so people can't edit them and then make an editable region where
people can either copy text or write new text in.

So what I need is:
1) Figure out a way to lock the template so no one can edit what I already
have.
2) Figure out a way to have them be able to edit text between the
placeholders I have in place.
3) Figure out a way to constrain the font others use when editing my
template.

Here is an example:

Template header 1
--------------------------
<text here>

Template header 2
---------------------------

Should be pretty simple but I can't for the life of my fine docs or
explanations telling me how this is done. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Daniel

What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form." Check this
in help. For more about online forms, follow the links at
http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/FillinTheBlanks.htm especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles.

You'll need separate sections for the editable portion.

Hope this helps,
