I would like to have only the custom-designed styles I created for a custom
template created in Word 2003) display in the styles pane when using Word
2007. How can I do that? For example, I do not want those headings 6 through
9 available for users to select.

Through the Manage Styles dialog, you have complete control over which
styles are displayed (and whether they are displayed as Quick Styles), the
order in which they are displayed (recommended), and so on. You can also
restrict users to certain styles. Access this dialog using the third button
from the left at the bottom of the Styles window.

This works very well. Thank you!
