Template Issues Possibly Wrong Template

Ronx,

I emailed you about the DWT you posted for me to download and i have not yet
heard anything from you and had issues so i thought i would post it here:

1. "Read-me.html"
- >I like the copyright being centered across the table but i do not like the
vertical red line separating the links in the top navigation.
- >The top nav is to tall for my liking.
- >I would like to have the border dividing the top nav from the "Shirley's
Recipes" cell as well as the bottom of the top nav.
2. "lemon_pound_cake.html"
- >I like the copyright being centere across the table but i do not like the
vertical red line separating the link in the top navigation.
- >Same issues as "Read-me.html"
3. "General.html"
- >I would like to have the border dividing the top nav from the "Shirley's
Recipes" cells.
4. "a_new_page.html"
- >Same issues as "Read-me.html"

Thank you,

Josh, just so you know; questions are asked and answered here on the
newsgroup by volunteers....so unless Ron specifically invited you to email
him I wouldn't expect a private answer.

Plus ... when we do a quick makeover or fix for free we are not obligated to
follow that up in anyway we just do it because ... well I do it because I
find it relaxing (no pressure - because I don't HAVE to do it)

.... I suggest if you want your template tweaking you pay him for it if he is
willing to do that or hire someone to do it for you. or just go buy a
template.

I was never implying he HAD to do anything. I am more than thankful for what
he did help me with. I simply sent him an email because in the template he
posted in this forum there was a read-me page included in the template file
that stated to contact him through email through the form on his website if i
had any further inquiries on that template. Also the sole reason for my post
was to get the right template layout i had requested in the first place it
appeared he had posted a template for the wrong layout example that was my
sole reason for asking for a corrected template because the template he sent
me was a DWT with locked areas that I can not change an those were the areas
i wanted to change.

Locked areas in a DWT can be easily changed, by editing the DWT. When you
save the edited DWT all the attached pages will be updated with the changes.

The reason I have not responded is that it is difficult to respond without
internet access. A week in Valencia (Spain) during the Fallus festival does
not leave much time for anything except a few hours sleep - I arrived home
at 3am today.

Thank you for your response but your reply more confused me than answered my
question. How do I change the following?

1. "Read-me.html"
- >I like the copyright being centered across the table but i do not like
the vertical red lines separating the links in the top navigation.
->The top nav is to tall for my liking.
- >I would like to have the border dividing the top nav from the"Shirley's
Recipes" cell as well as the bottom of the top nav in place.
2. "lemon_pound_cake.html"
- >Same issues as "Read-me.html"
3. "General.html"
- >I would like to have the border dividing the top nav from the"Shirley's
Recipes" cells in place.
4. "a_new_page.html"
- >Same issues as "Read-me.html"

Thank you,
