template for boy scout campout tracking

I need a template for a database that I can use to track attendance at boy
scout campouts, including # of nights, weather, awards earned, etc.

Have you tried a web search on "boy scout" "software". Given the scope of
your project, I wouldn't expect there to be any free templates out there
that would do all you want without a great deal of "tweaking".
I'd also consider any of the commercially available packages out there,
like... for $50 you might avoid a lot of rework, and get a time-tested,
proven solution right off the bat. I think Rank N File has a demo to try
out.

But... also check with the National BSA, other Scout Leaders, or any of the
Scouting magazines. (That brings back memories of my subscription to "Boy's
Life" magazine... )
