Template Document

Problem: I have created a template that is to be used by many different
people. It has a custom toolbar and serveral macros in it. But after the
template was used by several people they could not access the toolbar and the
marcros didnt always work. I have researched some of the suggestions but none
seem to quite fit.

What is the best way to save the file (as a doc or dot)? currently it is
saved as a doc and accessed from the intranet. Will everyone have to save the
dot file to thier own computer so the toolbar and macros always work?

If the file should be used as a template, it is best to save it as a
template. Ask the users to save the template in their user templates
folders.

Alternatively, if you are all on the same network, you can have the
template copied to the correct folder for each user (this also makes
updating the template a lot easier).
