I have a p4c800e deluxe about 3 months old a p4 3.2 Prescott ht 2 gig
Kingston ram 4x512 all the same.3 hd ati 800 with artic cool silencer 4 ,550
watt ps with 4 fans ,120 fan in front and 80 side panel and 2x 80 rear and
aero cool ht 101 with 2 80 push pull setup.all was running fine but today
noticed on mbm5 the cpu temp went up to 60c which was always at 47 to 50 max
before.today it would go to 60 and in less then a min back to 47 .burned a
couple of dvd and went around 55c .check all fans running fine touched the
heat pipes when at 60 and they were just warm.case temp from 27 to 30 room
temp 76f and humidity 56% plus used artic silver for heat sink.not sure what
else to add .

A couple more fans maybe; it sounds like you don't have enough yet to get
lift off!!!!

Whats the thermal limit of the CPU? If your system is stable then I
wouldn't be too worried about it personally. My old Athlon XP2500 used to
be capable of heating up the room where the compuer was used and I soon
learnt that I could (and did) spend a lot of time and money on cooling to
only see a few degrees temperature improvement.
