With a totally updated IE running smooth as glass, .... I would like to
increase the size of IE's Temporary files bucket.
Stuck with a 24 Kb dial-up connection reloading sites is a time consuming
pain.

No matter what setting is used for the amount of disk space.... the bucket
is full at 359 MB and overflows. Is there a work-around to this apparent
"jammed" IE's Temp Folder Size setting ????

Hi,
At some point (cache size) IE will take longer to check for newer versions
of cached files and you will lose the advantage of having those files
cached.

I don't know at what cache size that will happen. The conventional wisdom is
that cache size should be kept below 100 MB. I would expect a 300- 400 MB
cache to be more troublesome that a smaller one.

However, deleting the TIF folder and allowing a new one to be created *may*
allow you set a larger size.
