Temp Folder

I'm using Word 2003. Whenever I open/create/modify a file
and save it/use it, when I close Word, Word creates a
Temp Folder beneath the folder that contains the file I
worked on. Within the temp folder are the following
folders: msohtml;msohtml1; and VBE. There is some content
in these that I won't bother to list.

These are the same folders and content that are created
in the TEMP folder that I've assigned Windows to use for
all "tmp" and Temp" files.

Anyone have any idea why Word is doing this (Excel is
not) and what i can do to eliminate the problem? I can't
find anything in the MS Knowledge Base.

thanx--Jerry

G'day <[email protected]>,

This is Word's undo buffer. It always creates this second copy of the
file so it doesn't have to save over your original document until YOU
request said function.
