Temp files folder

Why has my <user name>/Local Settings/Temp folder yesterday suddenly started
showing Temp Internet Files, History & Cookies folders?

I always have 'Show hidden files & folders' enabled but haven't changed any
other settings.

check to see someone unchecked the delete the Temporary Intenet files in the tools\Internet options and then scroll down the advanced tab

Yep, that's normal.
But you don't have -
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name Here\Local Settings\Temp\Temporary
Internet Files
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name Here\Local Settings\Temp\Cookies
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name Here\Local Settings\Temp\History

Ah, well, a mystery - I'll just delete them.

Maybe not, but I have enough of them, thank you.

Thanks a lot , but I doubt it. I later noticed they all had the same
creation date, so I think an uninstall I did played silly buggers.
They're gone to God now & haven't come back.
