Telnet Buffer Question

C

Chris Coates

We have a Windows 2000 Application Server. We will be running large scripts
to a Unix box through Telnet. The buffer in the Telnet session is far too
limited for our needs. We will need to scroll back and review the output in
the telnet session.
Is there a way to increase the buffer size?
It appears that this might work through HyperTerminal, but we are trying to
avoid that direction because it will cause problems with the scripts.

Thanks

Yes. Start "telnet" at the start>run line. When the screen is up on the
desktop, right-click on the blue bar, and select properties.
