Telephone Number Format

Is there any way to change the telephone number format in Outlook 2002 from
(XXX) XXX-XXXX to XXX-XXX-XXXX? The parenthesis cause a problem when I sync
with my Sharp Wizard.
 
No. Masking of phone numbers in Outlook is hard coded and cannot be changed.
The manufacturers of your synch software should be well aware of that fact.
