Tektronix Phaser 350 Printer upgrade

I bought a second-hand Tektronix Phaser 350 printer from an office
clearout sale. At the time I got the impression that it would print at
600x300 dpi, but it turns out that the 600x300 resolution applies only
to the extended features upgrade. The printer I bought has only 17
fonts, therefore it does not have the upgrade.

This upgrade seems to consist mostly of an additional 16mb RAM,
although a new ROM is also fitted which must contain the additional 40
fonts, making a total of 57 fonts in all.

As I don't know where to get the upgrade pack for such an old printer
(and would think the cost of getting an engineer to be
disproportionate to the printer's overall value/longevity) does anyone
happen to know if the 600x300 mode printing can be accessed by merely
adding another 16mb of ram? Does anyone know what type of RAM and/or
how to fit it.

Finally, are the original colour inks still available for the phaser
350 or are there cheap refills available now?
