g'day,
-Using win2k

I recently un-installed Mcafee firewall service the wrong
way aparently, and anyway TCP/IP on my computer is now
stuffed beyond repair.

i've re-installed / un-installed both tcp and firewall etc
in all different orders and nuthing will help.

typical problems occuring because of this include programs
not being able to create sockets, and no internet :(

I was wondering if there is a way to restore the TCP suite
from the windows 2000 cd? if there is, how?

try and reinstall MacAfee and do a proper uninstall the remove tcpip and
network card form computer reboot and then reinstall network card, and ip
