TCP/IP ping

Does anyone know of a update for Windows 2000 that fixes
the average ping time issue? For example, I get the
following output from a remote server:
1121ms
RTO
RTO
RTO

and the average comes out to 280ms. The average should be
1121ms, since not all of the pings returned valid response
times. Right now it treats RTOs as 0. I believe XP fixed
this issue, but I need a fix for 2000.

How about copying ping.exe from an XP machine?
