Tasks in Outlook Today

I am trying to configure Outlook Today in Outlook 2003. The general
layout as well as the display of appointments and messages are ok. But
it seems that I can not configure the tasks the way I want them using
the customize page:
- Show tasks from today and older
- Sort first according to age (new to old), then according to priority
(high to low)
- Optional: Do not mark (over)due tasks
Any idea how to do this, even if I have to create a page manually?

Best regards,
Bernd

very little customization is available for the outlook today page... so
you'll need to make one yourself. It's not as easy as it sounds, which is
why there are few replacement pages available from 3rd parties.

I have received a couple of hints and looked at some of the available
replacement pages. None of them seems to have a solution for limiting
the tasks shown and sort them differently from what Microsoft offers.
I found an old posting though (search for "solved outlook today" in
Google Groups) with a VBScript routine, that generates the task list
dynamically. Unfortunately I don't understand enough VBScript nor do I
know the used object model. It seems that in the routine ShowTasks(),
the task list is first loaded from Outlook, then all future tasks are
eliminated (that's how far I understand the code), then it is sorted
and printed without check boxes. Maybe some of you understand a little
more than me?
