Taskpad view when printing calendar daily view

My Outlook 2003 online taskpad shows active tasks (chosen by view option).

However, when I print my calendar in daily view with taskpad enabled in page setup, it prints all tasks in the paper taskpad including completed tasks. How do I choose which taskpad view is chosen when printing?

I found out in other postings that this is a bug in
Outlook 2003.

I don't know if this helps you, but I found a workaround that works well enough for me:

Go to calendar, and make sure it's in day/week/month view.
Go to the toolbar, click on View, and select TaskPad. The Taskpad should show up beside your calenda.
Right click on a free area in the taskpad and select "Task Pad Settings" and select "Sort"
Sort it however you want. I sorted mine to show my most recent tasks first, which was what I was interested in. You can also select "Group By" which has other options.

Now when you go to print, it'll show as much of your task list in the way you have it organized as you want.
Hope this helps.
