My taskmanager does not show username for most processes. Is this normal ?

I think I may have a trojan, other odd stuff has been happening.

Does anybody know if el.exe has any business being in the startup list ?
thanks

Are you seeing anything under username or just not your username. As you
should find processes have System, local service, your username name etc

If you are worried about a trojan or virus. Make sure you have latest av
updates and do a full system scan in safe mode. Also download Adaware or
Spybot. Both are good tolls for removing spyware that may be on your system

You need to have Terminal Services enabled and running in order to see any
names in the User Name
column in Task Manager.

Start | Run | Type: services.msc | OK |
Scroll down to and double click: Terminal Services |
Set Startup type to Automatic | Apply | Click the Start button | OK
