Taskbar

I was hit by spamware and now my computer displays the
taskbar with the Address and Links Toolbars everytime I
logoff and log back on or reboot.

I can unselect each toolbar when I'm logged in, buy for
some reason the taskbar is not saving my settings.

Is there someplace in the registry that controls this
action?

Easiest to save the items you need from your profile, then while logged on
as another user with administrative right delete (or rename for now) the
damaged profile. The next time the user logs on a new profile will be
created from an image in \default user
