Taskbar problems

Some how my Taskbar got thicker and now is twice as high as it once was. I
tried dragging it back to size but it either goes away or comes back twice
the size. Does anybody have any idea how to correct this?

You have dragged some item to the second line, or set the clock to show more
data.

Jim,

Place the cursor on the taskbar's dotted indentation lines. Then move them
to the right just before the notification area. Then bring the taskbar back
into line at the bottom of the screen.

This should work for you.

Why not just right click on the desktop and click on properties, then tin the
drop down list select "windows xp" and clock ok
