Taskbar Problems - Classic Mode in Luna

My taskbar is in Classic mode, while the rest of my windows are in
Luna (Windows XP Style). Here's how it happened:

- I was into 3rd party visual styles (Microsoft's Luna is a visual
style)
- Windows XP doesn't support 3rd party visual styles, so I was trying
to get a patched Uxtheme.dll file
- At the time the problem occurred, I was using Windows XP SP2 RC2
- None of the patchers/patched files I tried worked
- I had booted my PC to uninstall SP2 RC2, and then I got the problem
- I hadn't done System Restore (and I should have) to fix the problem.

I got onto Tech support with Microsoft via phone, AND THEN e-mail,
neither of the reps could help me.

I believe there is a problem with the shellstyle.dll file on my PC.

PLEASE HELP ME!

Sincerely,
Anonymous

P.S. I will upload a screenshot to my site, http://www.scottywz.com,
soon. I will then release the URL to that picture in a future post.

Have you tried a repair installation as described on Doug's website?
