Taskbar: Open Program Buttons Don't Appear

I've lost the buttons for open programs, or open windows
on my taskbar.

I now have to use the ALT-TAB method to toggle between
open windows ... or minimize all windows so that they
remain visable onscreen.

Can someone help me to get my TaskBar to display my open
windows buttons?

I found my answer on page 23 on this forum. I'll post the
reply to that question.

NOTE: Norton AntiVirus identified the file as suspect,
but it worked perfectly for me.

Here's the response that I followed:

I suggest you visit MS-MVP Kelly's website at
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Note the instructions at the top of the page,
then scroll down to line 240,
(Programs Aren't Minimized in the Taskbar)

Right-click the hyperlink, then click | Save Target As |
to download the file, "xp_taskbar_desktop_fixall.vbs",
then double-click and follow the prompts.
