In Windows XP I like my taskbar to be on the right hand side of the screen as
it saves on real estate. XP allows me to shrink that puppy down to one icon
wide. I have Vista running on another machine and when I put the taskbar to
the side it cannot be shrunk down to the size I want. It can be shrunk down
to two icons wide and that's it. It is a small thing, but it bugs the hell
out of me.

Any ideas? I would have used Microsoft Support but they charge for this type
of question. I guess Microsoft need all the money they can get what with them
being so poor and all.

Nope, turned off the quicklaunch (the only toolbar I ever have going) and all
the icons I could in the notification area (including the time etc). Still
will not let me shrink it to the size I want.

Thanks though... I hadn't tried shutting off the toolbars and doing it that
way. :)
