Taskbar no longer flashes when a program needs my attention!

Whenever I get an instant message or an outlook reminder if I don't hear the
noise, the taskbar does not flash orange to let me know I have a new message.
This very useful feature just randomly stopped working for no reason, is
there any way I can fix it?

This is regarding Windows XP SP2
 
Open Outlook|Tools|Options|E mail options|Advanced E mail options|When
new items arrive in my Inbox-there you will het the options to configure
according to your need.

Download TweakUI, Expand "General", and set "Focus" to your liking.
