Taskbar interferes

I cannot get the taskbar to disappear

A program (Picture It!) has some buttons which are covered by the taskbar.
These buttons are necessary to do what I want to do, but because they are
covered, they can't be used.

I have tried several options e.g. "Autohide the taskbar" but it makes no
difference. Restarting the computer makes no difference

Hi,

Sounds to me 'Picture It' needs a patch.

But can't you simply minimize the taskbar?
Move mouse to upper part of the taskbar.
You mouse will change in vertical line with pointers up and down.
Click left mouse button now.
Drag down and release mouse.

You can get your taskbar back the same way (drag it up).

Just move the taskbar to the left, right or top. Right click on the taskbar
and click the "Lock the Taskbar" to unlock it if its locked. Drag the Taskbar
to the left, right or top.

Have you tried unchecking 'Keep the taskbar on top of other windows'?
Though when set it should restrict the max window size to what desktop is
left.

Thanks for all the replies.

I found that a restart DID fix the problem this time - it didn't last time,
but I will keep in mind the idea of moving the taskbar to somewhere else
