Is there anyway to remove the MS anti-spyware Icon from
the icons in the lower right corner? Doesn't seem to be a
box to check to not display the icon in the taskbar. Thanks

Yes,choose menu <Options>,select tab <General> from the
left panel, and click <hide..icon on system tray>
 
In the AS app:

Toolbar -> Options -> Settings
On the Left
General and then check the box to hide the systrat icon
