Taskbar icon size.. can't change back!

An icon appeared in my taskbar, and so I thought I'd try large icons
in the taskbar.. but now the icon has dissapeared and I can't change
it back to small icons.

I've searched Microsoft, but can't find any way to fix this..

Can anyone help????

What icon appeared?
Where did it appear in the 'Task Bar'?
What were you doing when this icon appear?
If you have decided that Vista is "crap' as you say, why post this query in
the first place .
Explain your problem and someone my be able to assist, we are all volunteers
(users just like you,) we to attempt to assist user with problems.

Hi,

Right click the taskbar and choose properties. Go to the start menu tab,
click 'customize'. On the resulting dialog box, scroll to the bottom and
uncheck the box that enables the use of large icons. Apply/ok your way back
out.
